Public Housing Scheme Phase-II of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has got off to a great start on the very first day of its launch. The residents of the capital showed tremendous interest in this scheme which started on 7 November 2025. More than 1,000 flats were booked in just 24 hours. All the flats in areas like Rohini, Ramgarh Colony and Shivaji Marg became full within a few hours. This response once again proves how fast the demand for affordable housing is growing in Delhi.
DDA’s Jan Samanya Awas Yojana Phase-II has received an overwhelming response. There was huge enthusiasm among the people of Delhi regarding the new housing scheme of DDA. Booking records were broken on the very first day of launch.
Booking of more than 1,000 flats was completed in just one day. People applied rapidly through online platform.
Hot demand was seen in Rohini, Ramgarh and Shivaji Marg. All the flats in these areas were booked within a few hours of the launch. These areas benefited from better location and connectivity.
Lieutenant Governor V.K. Reviewing the progress of the scheme, Saxena praised the transparency and efficiency of DDA.
In the first phase, which started in September 2025, 1,200 flats were booked on the very first day. On the same trust, people now came forward in Phase-II also.
Under Phase-II, about 1,500 flats have been made available for LIG and EWS category, so that every category can get a house.
Shivaji Marg, Ramgarh Colony, Rohini and Narela – these areas are well connected with good transportation, schools and markets.
DDA’s goal is ‘Housing for All.’ Online booking and simple process have made it easy to realize the dreams of common citizens.
