Indian Railways: The modern rail coach factory located in Lalganj tehsil of Raebarel has created a new record in the history of railways in the financial year 2025-26. Till now, more than 15,000 railway coaches have been manufactured here. This achievement strengthens the Make in India vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and establishes MCF Rae Bareli among the leading railway factories of the country.
The modern rail coach factory operated under Lalganj tehsil of Rae Bareli district of UP has once again set a new record in the history of railways. This achievement is the biggest achievement of this financial year 2025 – 2026. With this achievement, MCF has been successful in giving Rae Bareli a different identity from other rail coach factories of the country.
Aredica is playing an important role in promoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India vision. Out of the total 15,000 coaches manufactured here, 7,000 are air-conditioned (AC) coaches and 8,000 are non-air-conditioned (non-AC) coaches.
Here other coaches including three tier, two tier, three tier economic, Deen Dayalu parcel van, Tejas, AC chair car and sleeper are made. This includes Vande Bharat Express and Tejas Humsafar, Bharat Gaurav, Brakevan, Parcel Van, Track Recording Car, AC Economy Coach, MEMU, Loco Hold for Mozambique and DEMU coach, etc.
