Employment Fairs: Under the direction of Janjgir-Champa Collector Janmejay Mahobe, an employment fair is being organized by the district administration with the aim of providing maximum employment opportunities to the youth of the district. District Employment Officer MR Jaiswal said that a total of 07 private sector employers will participate in the employment fair, through which recruitment process will be done for about 266 posts. He told that in the employment fair, recruitment will be done by private sector employers for the posts of Metallurgy Engineer, Trailer Driver, General Manager (Mechanical/Electrical), ITI Turner, Machinist, Head Environment, Head Sustainability, Boiler DCS Engineer, Boiler Field Operator, Turbine DCS Engineer, Shift Engineer etc. Apart from this, recruitment process will also be done on posts like Security Guard, Field Officer, Agriculture Officer, Sales Officer, Health Advisor, Bima Sakhi (Rural Insurance Agent) in other areas. Educational qualification for the posts in industrial sector has been fixed as B.E./B.Tech./ITI, while for other posts, 10th, 12th and graduation have been fixed.
When and where will the employment fair be held?
Employment Officer Jaiswal told that on 17th December 2025 at District Panchayat Akaltara Agricultural Produce Market premises, Murlidih Road, Akaltara, on 26th December 2025 at Samrasta Bhawan of District Panchayat Baloda, Gram Panchayat Jawalpur, on 07th January 2026 at Sadbhavna Bhawan of District Panchayat Pamgarh, District Panchayat on 16th January 2026. Employment fair will be organized at Government High School Building, Gram Panchayat Kapisda, Bamhnidih and on 28 January 2026 at District Panchayat Navagarh, School Organization Building, Gram Panchayat Khairtal (GLD), School Kera Road, Navagarh.
District Employment Officer MR Jaiswal said that the applicants willing to participate in this placement camp can attend the placement camp on the given date and place from 11 am to 3 pm by presenting themselves with their original certificates and for more information, they can contact District Employment Office Janjgir Champa.
Candidates can attend the placement camp by taking the original and photocopies of these documents.
