Swiggy has expanded its Food on Train service to now make it available at 122 railway stations across the country and has increased the pre-order window from 24 hours to 4 days. With this, passengers will be able to easily book their favorite food before the journey.

Food delivery company Swiggy has given a big gift for railway passengers. Now you can book your favorite meal even just 4 days before the start of your journey. This service of Swiggy has now spread to hundreds of stations, that is, now not only in big cities but also at many Tier-2 and Tier-3 stations, the taste of your choice will reach your plate – from Vada Pav to Biryani! In this way, planning to eat while sitting in the train has become as easy as booking a ticket.
Swiggy has expanded the scope of its Food on Train service and has now made it available at 122 railway stations across the country. The company has also extended the pre-order window. Now passengers can book food not just 24 hours, but even 4 days i.e. 96 hours in advance. This will facilitate passengers to plan their journey in advance.
Service also at stations like Madurai, Alwar, Yesvantpur
Swiggy said that the new list includes big stations like Anantapur, Madurai, Alwar, Kozhikode, Khurda Road, Yesvantpur and Gonda. During festivals, this service provided passengers with favorite festive dishes without having to get down at the station. Swiggy Vice President Deepak Malu said that expanding the network to 122 stations and getting a 4-day pre-booking window will further improve the experience of passengers. With this, people will be able to enjoy local food of their choice even while travelling.

In a separate incident, Central Railways has identified the woman passenger whose video went viral in which she was seen cooking noodles by plugging an electric kettle into the mobile charging point in the AC coach. Railways has called it a serious security threat. Railways said that using electric kettle is a legal offense and it increases the risk of fire. Action will be taken against the woman under Section 147(1) of the Railway Act.
