JDU made it clear that the party is against this decision of Humayun Kabir. However, this controversy started by the TMC leader is further heating up the politics of Bengal. BJP has attacked TMC, while opposition parties are calling it an issue of minority rights. Experts say that this incident will affect the Bengal elections of 2026.

Let us tell you that the matter is related to Beldanga area of Murshidabad district of West Bengal. Suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir announced to lay the foundation of a Babri-like mosque in Ayodhya on 6 December, the anniversary of the demolition of the Babri structure. His supporters are gathering with bricks on their heads. Kabir said that this is a way of remembering the pain of 1992. But TMC has suspended him on this statement. At the same time, Calcutta High Court had refused to stop his foundation stone laying program. However, the court has put the responsibility of maintaining peace on the state government.
