Palak Alu Appe Recipe: Palak Alu Appe is a nutritious low-oil snack that is rich in iron and vitamins. It can be easily prepared with a mixture of semolina, spinach and boiled potatoes, which is very beneficial for health.
To make Palak Aloo Appe, first of all wash the spinach thoroughly. Then the spinach should be finely chopped and green chillies should also be chopped. Now boil the potatoes by placing a pan on the gas or in a cooker. After the hot potatoes cool down, remove their peels and then mash the potatoes.
After this, mix mashed potatoes, finely chopped spinach and green chillies together. Add ginger and cumin seeds to it and keep this mixture in a clean vessel. To make Palak Aloo Appe, make a good batter by mixing semolina and curd in another clean vessel and add water as per requirement.
And now add mashed potatoes and finely chopped spinach to the semolina and curd batter that you have prepared. Now add salt, red chili powder and garam masala and mix the batter well. Now cover this prepared batter and keep it for about 10 minutes so that the semolina swells properly.

Now after 10 minutes add Eno and mix the batter well. Now heat the appe pan on low flame and pour little oil in its pan. Now pour the prepared batter into the appe mold and cover and cook on medium flame. When the appe becomes golden from below, turn them and cook well from the other side also.
When the appe is cooked well from all sides, the gas should be turned off. Now these hot spinach-potato appe can be eaten with green coriander chutney, tomato chutney or fresh curd.
