Benefits of eating cherries: Dr. Akanksha Dixit, AYUSH doctor of Shivgarh Community Health Center of Rae Bareli district, says that cherries are like a superfood, which is beneficial for health as well as beauty. Consuming it at the right time and in the right quantity provides energy to the body, gives good sleep and the heart remains healthy for a long time.
Cherry is a delicious and nutritious fruit, which looks as attractive as it is beneficial for health. Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber are found in abundance in it, which help in protecting the body from many diseases.
Nutrients like Vitamin-C, Vitamin-A, potassium, iron and magnesium are present in cherries, which along with strengthening the body’s immunity, also keeps the skin and digestive system healthy.
Consumption of cherries is helpful in reducing the risk of heart disease, because the anthocyanins and flavonoids found in it keep the heart healthy by reducing bad cholesterol.
