Bihar Jharkhand News Today LIVE: The incident of firing in Nawada district of Bihar on Thursday evening created a sensation. It happened near the private bus stand of Nawada police station area, where a young man was shot to avenge the dispute that took place three days ago. The injured youth Ashish Kumar (18) was shot behind his right shoulder and is undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital. Two shells have been recovered from the spot. Ashish told that he had gone to the gym with his friends Rishu Ranjan and Raghu Ranjan, when the boys from the accused party called him and started fighting with both the friends. When Ashish came to intervene, he was fired upon from behind while he was running away. He has accused Pawan alias Dhelu and Rahul Yadav alias Tigdi of shooting him. Police are conducting raids in search of the accused. The second news is from Motihari. A mad dog spread panic in Sugauli area here. More than three dozen people were bitten and injured by dogs in Shrikhandi, Chainpur, Khutirwa and Devdatwa villages. All the injured are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. There is an atmosphere of fear among the local people and the administration is busy searching for the dog.

The audit report of CAG released in Ranchi has exposed serious irregularities in the mining department. According to the report, the state suffered a loss of Rs 70.92 crore due to closure of 368 sand ghats. Huge deficiencies were found in the approval and monitoring of mining leases, while irregularities in the auction process of minerals had a direct impact on revenue collection. A big decline was also recorded in the royalty received from minor minerals. While the total royalty was Rs 1082.44 crore in 2017-18, it came down to Rs 697.73 crore in 2021-22.
