During STF interrogation, the accused admitted that a few days ago, on the instructions of his gang leader Nauni Rana, he had brought explosive material to Karnal to commit a major criminal incident. He told that he was keeping the material hidden in a secluded place in Karnal while waiting for the opportunity.
Karnal: In a very important operation, Haryana Police’s Special Task Force (STF) Unit Karnal has foiled a major criminal conspiracy of the gang in time by arresting Amar Singh alias Much, a dreaded and active member of Lawrence Bishnoi-Kala Rana/Nauni Rana gang. On a tip-off, the accused traveling in a Ford Endeavor was arrested. A foreign automatic pistol has been recovered from him. Under the leadership of Inspector Deependra Singh, in-charge of STF Karnal, the team, on the basis of secret information, arrested the accused Amar Singh from Karnal-Indri Road on 25th November. An illegal foreign automatic pistol (Glock) with live rounds was recovered from the possession of the accused. The next day, the accused was presented in the court and six days’ police remand was obtained, after which he was interrogated intensively.
Amar Singh had come to commit a major crime
During interrogation, the accused admitted that a few days ago, on the instructions of his gang leader Nauni Rana, he had brought explosive material to Karnal to commit a major criminal incident. He told that he was keeping the material hidden in a secluded place in Karnal while waiting for the opportunity. Acting promptly, the STF team, on the spot of the accused, today dug up the ground from the side of the highway near village Jhinjhari, behind Karna Lake, and recovered 2 live hand grenades and an IED. FSL team and bomb disposal squad were called on the spot and action was taken to safely defuse the explosive material.
Gang’s big conspiracy exposed
Investigation has revealed that the gang was preparing for some major violent incident in Karnal and surrounding districts. Gangster Kala Rana and his father Joginder Singh are already in jail in UAPA and organized crime cases. His associates active outside were ready to carry out the crime at any time. By taking timely action, STF averted a possible major criminal incident and loss of life.
Who is Amar Singh?
Amar Singh alias Much has been active in Haryana, UP and Punjab for the last several years and has been involved in the following types of heinous incidents. He has also been involved in the brutal murder of a prominent political candidate, his driver and gunman on the Noida-Ghaziabad border. Apart from this, a young man was also kidnapped and brutally murdered in Ambala district. He has also looted an army officer’s car at gunpoint in Yamunanagar. Involvement in cases of murder, criminal conspiracy, Gangster Act, Arms Act, theft and illegal weapons in Noida and Ghaziabad.
