Pune/Mumbai. Capitalizing on India’s fast-paced financial growth story, Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited has announced the launch of Banking and Financial Services Fund, an open-ended equity scheme investing in the banking and financial services sector. This new fund offer (NFO) will open for subscription on 10 November 2025 and close on 24 November 2025. This fund has been benchmarked against Nifty Financial Services TRI.
India’s banking and financial services (BFSI) sector is changing at an unprecedented pace and along with traditional banking, NBFCs, insurance companies, AMCs, capital markets and cutting-edge fintech companies are also joining the sector. Over the past two decades, the market capitalization of the region has grown nearly 50 times, made possible by rapid digitalization, increasing credit access, financial inclusion and bold regulatory reforms. Today, the sector is at the heart of India’s economic momentum and offers investors an opportunity to participate in the country’s financial transformation and long-term wealth creation story.
This fund is based on the Megatrends strategy of Bajaj Finserv Mutual Funds. It aims to create a diversified portfolio encompassing banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, AMCs and other capital-markets participants to capture opportunities from India’s evolving financial ecosystem. It will invest in approximately 45-60* stocks selected from around 180-200 megatrends sectors, which will be in line with long-term structural trends.
Supported by megatrends such as UPI adoption, digital lending, Jan Dhan initiative and increasing participation in NBFCs, mutual funds and insurance, the scheme is designed for long-term investors with high risk appetite to create wealth through focused investments in the BFSI sector.

The equity portion of the fund is managed by Nimesh Chandan (CIO) and Saurabh Gupta (Head- Equity), while its debt investments are managed by Siddharth Chaudhary (Head- Fixed Income). The minimum application amount is ₹500 (in multiples of ₹1), and the minimum additional application amount is ₹100 (in multiples of ₹1). If the investment is redeemed within three months from the date of allotment, an exit load of 1% is applicable. This fund offers both growth and IDCW (Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal) options.
