Instagram Your Algorithm feature- Instagram is now giving a new feature called ‘Your Algorithm’ in the reels tab, with the help of which users will be able to set their interests and see the desired reels in their feed. Currently, Instagram has launched this feature in America and soon it can be launched in other countries including India.

That is Instagram repeatedly showing such reels in which the user has no interest. But, now Instagram has also solved this problem with the ‘Your Algorithm’ feature. Through this feature, users will be able to watch reels of topics of their choice. This tool will provide personalized recommendations for reels to the users. According to Instagram, this feature is currently made available in America only and will soon be released in other countries including India. Currently, the ‘Your Algorithm’ feature is only for Reels, but in the future, Instagram will provide this feature to the Explore page and other pages of the app as well.
Instagram has given information about ‘Your Algorithm’ tool through a blog post. It has been said that for the first time, users have been given the right to decide for themselves what they want to see and what not. With the help of the new feature, you can change the content visible in your Reels tab as per your choice. Your algorithm will show users options of Top Interests. These will be the topics that Instagram believes you like the most. From the list of topics, you can tell which topics you want to see more and which you want to see less. After this your Reels algorithm will start changing itself according to your choice.
How to use Instagram’s your algorithm feature
- As soon as you view a reel on your Instagram feed, you will see two lines with a heart in the top corner.
- You have to click on the option of ‘Your Algorithm’ tool.
- After this many content options will appear.
- You have to tell here on which topics you want to see more reels and on which less.
- After selecting the topics, Instagram will show reels as per your choice.
- You will also be able to customize your feed by typing a topic in the search box.
