The seasoning of cumin, garlic, ginger and green chilli is added to it. After this, chopped gram greens are added and cooked on low flame. Salt, turmeric and a little red chilli are added as per taste. The greens are cooked until they become completely soft. In some areas, it is also prepared by lightly mashing it, which further enhances its taste. Gram greens taste very tasty with corn bread or rice.
