Indian Air Force Sri Lanka Rescue Video: The situation had become very bad after the landslide in Kotmale area of Sri Lanka. Hundreds of people were stranded due to complete closure of the road. In such a situation, the Indian Air Force truly arrived as an angel. The IAF, along with Sri Lankan authorities, carried out a massive rescue operation and with the help of its helicopters, 45 stranded people were safely evacuated to Colombo. These included 12 Indians, as well as more than 30 foreign nationals from Germany, South Africa, Slovenia, UK, Poland, Belarus, Iran, Australia, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Many passengers said emotionally – India gave us a new life. In the video, injured, elderly and children are seen being evacuated safely in an IAF helicopter.
