Mandi News: There is a shortage of 105 doctors in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, recently 30 new doctors have been posted and 30 post graduate doctors will be added soon. CMO Mandi Dr. Deepali Sharma said that the list of vacant posts in the district was sent to the state government. Recently 30 new doctors have been appointed, out of which 26 have joined. At present, 105 posts of doctors are vacant in the district and the process of filling them is also going on. The state government has issued temporary orders for the posting of 30 new post graduate doctors. All of them will join here after the results of their MD exam. After their joining, most of the ongoing shortage of doctors in the district will be filled. He has also expressed gratitude to the state government for this.
Dr. Deepali Sharma said that the 30 new doctors received by the district have been posted at those places where the posts of doctors were completely vacant. There were many PHCs and CHCs where there was a shortage of doctors. That deficiency has been filled to a great extent. In the future also, efforts will be made to deploy new doctors only at such places where they are most needed so that people can get the best health services at their doorstep.
Doctor was changed from Nair Chowk
It is noteworthy that recently about 41 doctors were changed together from Nair Chowk Medical College. BJP had raised questions on this and accused the government of discriminating against Mandi district.
