Nuh Accident: Uncle and nephew died in a dumper accident near Gurjar Nangla village on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Mewat district of Haryana. Farmers tried to save truck driver Ranjit resident of Neemli and Rizwan resident of Dholet, but could not save both of them.
mewatA horrific accident took place on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Nuh district of Haryana at around 5 am on Friday morning, in which two people died tragically, It is being told that the dumper was going towards Firozpur Jhirka from Delhi, As soon as the dumper reached near Gurjar Nangla village, the speeding dumper collided with a culvert on the expressway,
According to the information, the collision was so severe that the heavy dumper broke the culvert and fell straight down. As soon as it fell, fire broke out in the vehicle and within a few minutes the entire dumper was engulfed in flames. Farmers working in the fields near the incident site, seeing the flames, ran to the spot.
The local people risked their lives and tried to save the driver and conductor. But amidst the intense flames, it was not possible to pull out the conductor and he burnt to death. According to eyewitnesses, the conductor’s body was completely burnt and only the skeleton was visible left. Meanwhile, the villagers showed courage and somehow pulled out the driver and left to take him to the hospital. But the injuries were so serious that the driver also died on the way.
Both the deceased have been identified as Ranjit resident of Neemli, Rajasthan and Rizwan resident of Dholet. Both are said to be maternal uncle and nephew. At present, both the bodies have been sent to Al Aafia Hospital, Mandikheda for post-mortem. As soon as the news of the accident was received, the police team reached the spot and started investigating the entire matter.
