Dr. Smita Srivastava, an AYUSH doctor from Rae Bareli, says that some species of Dhatura are extremely poisonous. Dry leaves and seeds of Datura are used as medicine, which is very beneficial for our body.
Datura is very effective in diseases like hair fall, dandruff, piles, asthma, accumulation of phlegm in lungs and chest etc. and impotence.
Dr. Smita tells that Dhatura can also be used in joint pain. Dhatura can also be used for swelling or heaviness in the legs. For this, Dhatura leaves should be ground and applied. This will give you immediate relief, because due to the hot nature, there is natural contraction of the muscles and the muscles become soft.
Dhatura is beneficial for those who suffer from asthma. To use it, mix Dhatura with Apamarg and Javasa herbs and make churan. By smelling its aroma daily the problem will go away.
