Chandigarh. Haryana Police’s Special Task Force (STF) Sonipat unit has struck a major blow to one of the most dangerous organized crime networks in North India. In a joint and precise operation conducted on the night of 30 November to 1 December 2025, seven active members of the notorious Rohit Godara-Naveen Boxer gang have been arrested. Due to this action of STF, the conspiracy of this dreaded gang to carry out two important murders in Delhi and Rajasthan was foiled in time.
Rohit Godara is among those mafias who have fled from India and are hiding abroad. From there, he is running a dangerous network to carry out serious crimes like extortion, betel nut killing, firing and intimidation in states like Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and Rajasthan. Along with him, other most wanted criminals including Naveen Boxer, Mahendra Saharan are also hiding abroad on fake passports.

This gang was luring youth into the cycle of crime by sending them abroad and luring them with money through social media. The murder of Luvjeet in Bhiwani court premises and the threat given to the hospital operators in Dadri were the work of this gang.
Seven shooters were caught
STF Sonipat unit was closely monitoring the activities of this gang for a long time. Based on in-depth intelligence, the team arrested seven vicious criminals last night. They have been identified as Rohit alias Katwalia, Mohammad Sajid, Manav Kumar, Vikas Pal, Happy Singh, Jabarjung Singh and Vijay Kumar.
STF investigation revealed that these youths were doing work like supplying weapons to the gang, doing recce of targets, arranging money and making complete plans for sensitive incidents. During these preparations, STF made a timely raid and foiled the plan of two murders to be committed in Rajasthan and Delhi.
Criminals arrested and weapons recovered
30 bore pistol, 36 live rounds, a magazine and mobile phone were recovered from Rohit alias Katwalia. PX5 .30 bore pistol, 25 live rounds and two mobile phones were recovered from Mohammad Sajid. ZIGANA 9MM pistol, 25 rounds and mobile phone were recovered from Manav Kumar. INDIAN 9MM pistol, 24 rounds, an extra magazine and mobile phone were found from Vikas Pal. Happy Singh was found with PX3 .30 bore pistol, 36 live rounds, an extra magazine and mobile phone. STAR .30 bore pistol and 25 live rounds were recovered from Jabarjang Singh. INDIAN 9MM pistol, 26 rounds, one extra magazine and two mobile phones were recovered from Vijay Kumar.
A large quantity of illegal weapons and live cartridges were recovered from the arrested shooters, which shows their preparation to commit a major crime. Haryana Police officials said that this action reflects their commitment to root out organized crime and gangster networks. All the accused will be produced in the honorable court and will be taken on police remand and the inter-state relations and further plans of this gang will be revealed. This success of STF is a clear warning to the criminals that there is no place for crime in Haryana.
