Samastipur: There is a good news for the youth struggling with unemployment. This news is very important for the youth who are looking for employment. Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, Samastipur Railway Division has decided to deploy facilitators for the operation of Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (ATVM). Under this, a total of 17 facilitators will be reinstated to smoothly operate the 22 ATVMs installed at 7 major stations of the division. Railway administration has issued a notification in this regard. The special thing is that this time the Railways has relaxed the rules and given the opportunity to the common people to apply, due to which the local youth and unemployed people will get direct benefits.
Who can apply and how
According to the information released by Railways, the minimum educational qualification for the post of Facilitator has been kept as 10th pass. In this, along with common citizens, retired railway employees or their sons can also apply. The selected facilitator will not be given any monthly salary by the Railways, but he will get three percent incentive (bonus) on every re-charge of the smart card.
Last date of application
According to the information received, the facilitator will have to purchase a smart card from the station manager and through the same, general and platform tickets will have to be provided to the passengers. The last date for application has been fixed as 30th December. Railways has also clarified that if any kind of complaint is received, fine can be imposed as per the rules.
Station wise deployment details
There are 6 ATVMs installed at Darbhanga Junction under Railway Division, where 1 facilitator will be deployed. 6 facilitators for 5 machines will be restored at Muzaffarpur station. 4 facilitators will be appointed for 3 ATVMs in Narkatiaganj, 1 facilitator for 2 machines in Madhubani, one facilitator each in Bettiah and Sitamarhi.
At the same time, 2 facilitators will be deployed for 2 ATVMs installed at Chakia and Sugauli stations. This step of Railways will not only prove helpful to the passengers in getting tickets, but will also create new employment opportunities at the local level.
