Gold prices have declined for the second consecutive day in the month of November. On November 5, gold fell to Rs 900 per 10 grams in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, a decline in gold prices was also seen in Varanasi and Meerut. If we talk about silver, its price fell by Rs 500 per kg as soon as the market opened on Wednesday.
On November 5, the price of 24 carat gold decreased by Rs 880 per 10 grams in the bullion market of Varanasi. Now its price has come down to Rs 1,21,630 per 10 grams. Earlier on November 4, the rate of 24 carat gold was Rs 1,22,510 per 10 grams. Today in the capital Lucknow, gold fell by Rs 900 to Rs 1,21,610 per 10 grams, while in Meerut it reached Rs 1,21,620 per 10 grams.
22 carat gold fell for the second day also
The price of 22 carat gold in Varanasi market fell by Rs 800 per 10 grams on Wednesday. Now its price is Rs 1,11,600 per 10 grams, whereas on November 4 it was Rs 1,12,400 per 10 grams. At the same time, 18 carat gold also fell by Rs 730 to Rs 91,260 per 10 grams.
Silver fell again by Rs 500
A decrease in the price of silver was also seen in the bullion market for the second consecutive day. As soon as the market opened on Wednesday, silver became cheaper by Rs 500 per kg to Rs 1,50,500 per kg. On November 4, its price was Rs 1,51,000 per kg. An overall decline of Rs 3,500 per kg has been recorded in two days.
Prices may fall further
Vijay Tiwari, patron of Varanasi Bullion Association, said that from the trend seen in the prices of gold and silver, it is expected that the prices may fall further in the coming days.
