How to Make Gold: Do you know where gold came from on earth? Scientists believe that it was formed long before the Earth was formed. The question is that if it was made somewhere else then how did it reach Earth.
New Delhi. Today the whole world is crazy after gold. Forget about the common man, banks of all countries are also continuously purchasing gold. Gold is not the choice of today’s world, but the entire history is full of its craze. Kings and emperors used to fight wars for this, while many chemists also tried to make gold in their labs. Now the question arises that where did gold come from on earth? Some scientists and research have said that gold is older than our earth, so the story of where it was made and how it reached us is very interesting.
It has been proven through scientific research that every atom of gold and silver present on earth had started its journey even before this planet came into existence. It is believed that gold and silver atoms were the particles of stars that were alive and later died. But, the question arises that how did it reach the earth and how much gold is there in our planet? Apart from this, how much gold can there be in the universe? Let us discuss all this from the beginning.
How did it start?
Scientists estimate that the universe began 13.8 billion years ago with a Big Bang. Then a huge energy explosion created hydrogen, helium and lithium. There was no heavy element then. Gradually the star formed and the gravity present in the center of this star converted hydrogen into helium, producing energy and light, as happens with our Sun today. Gradually helium is also converted into carbon, oxygen, silicon and iron, but when the center of the star is filled with iron, it gets destroyed. It is during this process of destruction of stars by explosion that a special chemical reaction takes place. Due to this, neutron bombardment occurs and metals like gold, silver, platinum, uranium are formed.
10 Earth’s worth of gold produced in 2017
In 2017, scientists discovered an explosion and chemical process in space that created gold equal to the weight of 10 earths. Actually, a neutron star or rather a dying star is only 20 kilometers wide, due to which its mass becomes much more than the Sun. This star is so dense that one teaspoon of its material would weigh billions of tons. In 2017, scientists detected waves generated by a similar collision 13 million light years away. Astronomers estimate that this explosion produced gold equal to the weight of 10 Earths, while many times more platinum was produced.
Gold is actually ash from the cosmic explosion
Astrophysicist Jennifer Johnson says that whenever you hold a piece of gold in your hand, you are actually holding the ashes of the universe. Meaning, it was decided that gold was not created on Earth, rather it had come into existence long before the Earth was formed. As gold has been created from the explosion that occurred in the year 2017. If this gold comes to earth, its weight will be much more than the earth.
