Delhi Saharanpur-Dehradun Elevated Highway: Delhi-Dehradun Expressway passes through the natural beauty of Saharanpur region. The 12 kilometer long elevated route offers spectacular views of forests, mountains and rivers. This expressway will reduce the distance from Delhi to Dehradun by two and a half hours and is likely to be inaugurated in February 2026.

The 210 km long Delhi-Dehradun Expressway will start from Akshardham in Delhi and reach Dehradun, passing through mountains and forests. As soon as the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway enters the Saharanpur region, an approximately 12 km long elevated road begins from the Saharanpur-Uttarakhand border. This elevated route is mainly built over the Rispana and Bindal rivers (also known as ‘Rao’ in the local language).

It is expected that this expressway may be inaugurated by PM Modi in February 2026. On this expressway, vehicles will be able to run at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour, due to which the journey from Delhi to Dehradun will be completed in just two and a half hours. It has cost about Rs 12,000 crore to complete this ambitious project. The expressway is being built in four parts and a total of five toll plazas have been built from Delhi to Dehradun.
