Four youths died in a head-on collision between two bikes near Gohi Mod in Ayerkotha police station area of Rohtas district. After the collision, one bike caught fire, due to which both the vehicles were burnt. The age of the deceased was 20 to 22 years. Police have sent the bodies to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
Rohtas/Patna: Late Wednesday evening, two bikes collided head-on near Gohi Mod in Ayarkota police station area of Rohtas district of Bihar, in which four youths died on the spot. Police said that the age of those who died was between 20 and 22 years.
After the collision, one bike caught fire, due to which both the bikes were burnt to ashes. In the accident, 20-year-old Vikas Sharma and 22-year-old Vikas Tiwari of Dalmianagar police station area, 21-year-old Anmol Sharma of Mangitpur village of Nasriganj police station area and 20-year-old Alok Singh of Hemradih of the same police station area died.

It was told that after the collision, two youths sitting on a bike caught fire due to burning, while the remaining two youths died on the spot due to serious injuries. Ayerkotha police station in-charge Shivam Kumar said that the families of the deceased have been informed. The police have taken the dead bodies in their custody and sent them to Sadar Hospital, Sasaram for post-mortem.
Bike riders were returning to the village
According to the police, Anmol Sharma and one of his friends were going to their village Mangitpur-Sohgi on one bike, while on the other bike Vikas Sharma and Vikas Tiwari were returning from Nasriganj to their home in Prayag Bigha of Dalmianagar police station area. Meanwhile, near Gohi village, both the bikes collided head-on, after which one bike caught fire.
Accident on NH-531
On the other hand, a major road accident took place on NH-531 in Gopalganj district. Due to dense fog, a massive collision took place between two passenger buses and a truck near Chanave village of Thawe police station area. In the accident, a bus driver died on the spot, while more than half a dozen passengers are said to be injured. The collision was so strong that the front parts of the buses were badly damaged. The injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations.
