The weather remained completely dry in the state. Cold wave occurred in one or two pockets of North and Central Chhattisgarh. The highest maximum temperature of 30.2°C was recorded in Durg and the lowest minimum temperature of 4.9°C was recorded in Ambikapur.

The minimum temperature is expected to be lowest in Surguja, Bilaspur and Bastar divisions, while the effect of cold will be moderate in Raipur and Durg divisions.
