Lucknow: Raids are going on in different districts of Uttar Pradesh in the cough syrup smuggling case. Raids by ED as well as other agencies are going on in Varanasi, Saharanpur and Lucknow. ED team reached the CA office of smuggling gang mastermind Shubham Jaiswal. More than half a dozen officers are present in the office of CA Vishnu Kumar Aggarwal. CA Vishnu Kumar Aggarwal is absconding from office. The ED team is busy sifting through the documents. ED raid is going on in Varanasi.
ED raids Alok Singh’s house for 12 hours
ED raids continue in cough syrup smuggling syndicate case. ED team present at the house of dismissed constable Alok Singh for more than 12 hours. Officials of the banks in which the firm’s accounts were opened were also present with the ED. ED is still taking action. A team of ED officers is conducting raids inside Alok Singh’s house. ED action continues since last 12 hours.
ED raids Shubham’s CA house also
According to the information received, CA Vishnu Kumar Aggarwal used to manage the financial transactions of the black business of cough syrup. At the same time, ED action is going on continuously since 9:00 am at the house of Vibhor Rana and Vishal Rana in Saharanpur district. ED officials have arrived in 7 to 8 vehicles along with the central security forces and are continuously stationed inside the house. He is checking home made lockers and other items.
Manohar Jaiswal’s house also raided in Lucknow
Let us tell you that Vishal and Vibhor Rana are also constructing a mansion in their village by investing several crores of rupees. Vibhor Rana has also formed an organization named Shri Ram Sena, under whose flag he has been holding protests and through this he also shows his political affiliation to the BJP in front of the people. At the same time, ED raided the cough syrup smuggling syndicate in the capital Lucknow. ED also raided the house of Manohar Lal Jaiswal in Sarojini Nagar area of Lucknow. ED also raided Manohar Lal’s pharmaceutical factory in Ahmedabad and residence in Bhopal. According to ED sources, cough syrup was made in Manohar Lal Jaiswal’s pharmaceutical factory in Ahmedabad.
ED raids Alok Singh’s house also
Preparations are underway to crack down on smugglers of cough syrup containing codeine. ED’s raids are continuing at the locations of the accused associated with the cough syrup syndicate. ED raid continues on the house of dismissed STF constable Alok Singh in Lucknow. ED’s search operation is going on at Alok Singh’s house for the last 8 hours. ED has also summoned the main accused Shubham Jaiswal for questioning today. SIT is also interrogating the recently arrested Alok Singh and Amit Tata by taking them on remand. ED raids have been conducted at three places in Varanasi. Apart from the house of Shubham Jaiswal, ED team also came to the house of his close friend Divesh Jaiswal this morning and threatened him. Divesh’s father had opened a grocery shop at the house which was raided by ED.
ED threatened in Jaunpur also
ED team has been raiding Jaunpur for four hours in the cough syrup case. ED is conducting raids at two different places including Amar Pandey’s hideouts. The ED team has been standing for four hours. Amar Pandey is said to be related to Kedar Pharma. ED team collected important documents from Amar Pandey’s locations. ED team camped at Toyota Agency at Pachhatiya in Jaunpur. ED team creates stir due to threat to Toyota agency. The ED team is busy investigating the connection of cough syrup and the network related to it.
