Ayodhya: After the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, now the echo of Lord Shri Ram’s faith and Indian culture is going to be heard across the seven seas. After the holy city of Ayodhya in North India, now a grand Ram temple will be built in the Caribbean country Trinidad and Tobago, which will be developed as ‘Mini Ayodhya’. Information about this important initiative has been given by Prem Bhandari, Chairman of Jaipur Foot USA and NRI Prem Bhandari, who reached Ayodhya for darshan and worship of Ram Lalla.
Prem Bhandari said that the idol of Lord Shri Ram for the proposed Ram temple in Trinidad and Tobago has already been sent there. This statue is very similar to the statue of Ramlala present in Ayodhya, due to which the Ram devotees there will be able to get a spiritual experience like Ayodhya. He said that the main objective of this temple is to provide a strong spiritual and cultural center to millions of Ram devotees living in North America and Caribbean countries.
40 Hindu organizations are participating
According to Prem Bhandari, this project is not limited to the construction of a temple only, but it will be developed as a ‘mini Ayodhya’. Special arrangements will be made for religious, cultural and social activities in the temple premises, so that the coming generations can remain connected with Indian culture, Sanatan tradition and the ideals of Lord Shri Ram. This project will get the support of the local government and about 40 Hindu organizations are actively participating in it.
The spiritual peace they got after coming to Ayodhya
Prem Bhandari, who became emotional after having the darshan of Ramlala, said that he wants to convey the same feeling of spiritual peace and energy that he got after coming to Ayodhya to the Indians and Ram devotees living abroad. He said that this Ram temple to be built in Trinidad and Tobago will further strengthen the Indian culture and Sanatan tradition on the global stage.
Will strengthen cultural ties
He also said that this temple will not only become a center of religious faith, but will also strengthen the cultural ties between India and the Caribbean countries. This complex, to be developed as ‘Mini Ayodhya’, will become a new identity and symbol of pride for the Hindu community settled all over the world.
