SEBI has issued an alert to the people regarding digital gold. Digital gold means electronic gold, which allows buying and trading of physical gold. Many private companies have started selling digital gold through apps and websites, in which even small amounts like ₹ 100 can be invested. However, since it does not come under the regulation of SEBI, the risk of risk is high.
