There is deep mourning in the Bhojpuri film industry due to the demise of Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’ Dharmendra. Veteran Bhojpuri artists Pawan Singh, Khesari Lal Yadav and Ravi Kishan paid tribute to him. Pawan Singh said that his departure is as if a bright light has gone from his life.
Mumbai. Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89. The entire country is in mourning due to the death of Bollywood’s He-Man. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and many celebrities from the Bollywood world have expressed grief over the demise of Dharmendra. A wave of mourning has spread in the Bhojpuri film industry on the demise of Dharmendra. Bhojpuri’s veteran actor and power star Pawan Singh has expressed deep condolences on the demise of Dharmendra. A post of Pawan Singh is becoming increasingly viral, in which he has said such things about Dharmendra, which will bring tears to your eyes.
Pawan Singh said, the news of Dharmendra ji’s departure has broken the heart to the core. Today it seems as if a bright light has gone not from the screen but from life itself. I was fortunate that I got the opportunity to work with him. Even today, remembering his kindness, simplicity and humanity on the set brings tears to my eyes. BJP MP and Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan described Dharmendra as not only a great actor but also a mentor and family member. He told that Dharmendra used to affectionately call him ‘Biba Munda’. Ravi Kishan said that his demise is also very sad personally.
Dharmendra not only had mental or emotional attachment to Bhojpuri cinema, but he was also a part of many successful Bhojpuri films. Dharmendra entered this industry in the year 2013 with the Bhojpuri film ‘Des Pardes’. In this film, he played the role of father of Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh. This film based on father-son relationship was very much liked by the audience. Apart from this film, Dharmendra also contributed to Bhojpuri cinema. His other Bhojpuri films include ‘Insaaf Ki Devi’, ‘Daria Dil’, ‘Sajna Humka Dulhaniya Bana Diyo Na’ and ‘Dushman Ke Khoon Paani Ha’.
