Delhi: Lalita, a resident of Uttarakhand, has today become an inspiration for many women in Delhi. Till some time ago she was just a housewife, but now she is slowly shaping a small business through the pickles and salt made by her own hands. He says that I always made pickles at home. Everyone used to say that my pickle is very tasty. That’s where the idea of starting came from. Currently Lalita lives in Delhi with her family.
real identity of desi taste
Lalita’s pickles are quite different from the pickles in the market. She says that we fry the spices ourselves at home. Therefore the taste is absolutely desi and special. They have many types of pickles available like chilli, mango, lemon, amla and sweet mango. This homemade taste is now gradually becoming people’s choice.
handling business alone
Right now Lalita was handling all this work alone. She says that this is just the beginning, orders are not getting much yet, but people are slowly starting to like it. Every month she makes about 15 to 20 kg of pickles. Right now they are not making much profit, but their focus is on making people aware of their taste.
Know the price of pickles
Lalita tells that the price of her pickle is Rs 160 for half a kg and Rs 320 for one kg. She says that we are currently selling at a lower price. So that people try it and recognize the taste. Lalita says that the taste of our Pahari pickle should reach every home. This is their goal.
The aim is to become a big businesswoman from a housewife.
He told that starting a business amidst household responsibilities was not easy, but having family and self-confidence gave him courage. She says that changing from a housewife to a businesswoman is a new experience for me. It feels great when people say that your pickle is very good.
got full support from family
Lalita believes that if she had not had the support of her family, this journey would not have been so easy. She says that my husband and children gave courage at every step. Help is available in household work, packing or delivery. When the family is together, no dream seems big.
