Delhi blast conspiracy: Yasir, who took oath to commit suicide, arrested

Delhi Blast Case Big Update: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has achieved another major success in the case of the horrific bomb blast that took place near the historic Red Fort of Delhi. The agency has arrested an important accused involved in the conspiracy of this terrorist attack. The arrested person is Yasir Ahmed Dar, a resident of Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. According to the investigation, he was not only a part of the conspiracy, but had also taken an oath to carry out the suicide attack.

With this arrest by NIA, a total of nine accused have been arrested so far in the Delhi blast case. The agency says that Yasir had provided help to the attacker and was in touch with the entire terrorist network. This matter is also sensitive because 11 people died in this attack and many others were seriously injured.

Who is the arrested accused Yasir?

According to NIA, the full name of the arrested accused is Yasir Ahmed Dar. He is a resident of Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. The agency has arrested him from New Delhi. Yasir has been arrested under relevant sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 and BNS 2023. This arrest has been made under case number RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.

Took oath for suicide attack

NIA investigation has revealed that Yasir was playing an active role in this terrorist conspiracy. According to the agency, he had taken an oath to carry out a suicide attack. He was also in contact with the main accused of the attack and the deceased attacker Omar Un Nabi.

With whom was there contact?

The investigating agency said that Yasir was not only close to Umar Un Nabi, but he was also close to other accused in this case. Mufti Irfan is also included in this. He was in constant touch with all of them. NIA believes that this entire network was preparing for a major attack in Delhi in an organized manner.

This terrorist attack took place on November 10 near the Red Fort of Delhi. This blast shocked the entire country. 11 people lost their lives in the car bomb blast. Since then, NIA is investigating this case in depth and one by one it is exposing the faces associated with the conspiracy.

Major actions have already been taken

Earlier, NIA had raided many places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. Many digital devices and objectionable materials were seized in these search operations. Earlier, searches were also conducted at Alfalah University campus and other places in Faridabad. From here, evidence related to the main accused Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ghani and Dr. Shaheen Saeed came to light.

What next?

NIA says that it is working with central and state agencies to connect every link of this entire terrorist conspiracy. The agency has made it clear that the action will continue until the entire network of the conspiracy is exposed.
