DDA affordable housing scheme: There is a big good news for those who dream of buying a house in Delhi. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has once again started a scheme to provide houses to the common people at affordable prices. This time DDA is going to start booking of more than 1500 ready houses from November 7, the starting price of which has been kept at only Rs 11.8 lakh. These flats are completely ready-to-move, meaning you can move in immediately after purchasing.

DDA has prepared this scheme keeping in mind every section of the society, so that people from common and economically weaker sections can also get their houses in the capital Delhi. When the first phase of this scheme was started in September, tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the people. On the very first day of launch, 1,167 flats were fully booked.

Now a total of 1,537 flats are being provided in the second phase of the scheme. These include houses for both LIG (Low Income Group) and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) sections. These flats are built in different areas of Delhi-

Like Shivaji Marg (Moti Nagar)
Ramgarh Colony (Near Jahangirpuri Metro Station)
Rohini Sector 34 & 35 (Near Urban Extension Road-2)
Narela Sector G6-G7 Pocket 11 (Near Proposed Rithala-Narela-Kundli Metro Corridor)

When will the booking start, how long will it last?

Booking for DDA flats will start from 12 noon on 7th November and will continue till 21st December. Although the last date of registration has not been clearly mentioned, the sooner the applicants apply, the better it will be for them. To apply, candidates should visit DDA’s Housing Portal. You have to register by visiting https://eservices.dda.org.in. A fee of Rs 2500 will have to be paid for registration and once you apply, you will not have to register again.

The booking amount for LIG category flat has been kept at Rs 1 lakh, while for EWS category, Rs 50,000 will have to be paid. DDA has written on its official
