Japani Dulhan Madhepura: After marriage, Rahul reached Rauta village of Madhepura with his wife. Both the newly married couples were welcomed in traditional style. A huge crowd of people gathered to see the Japanese Bauhariya. Dressed in saree, Marina touched the feet of the elders and took blessings.
Rauta village under Puraini block of Madhepura district has become the center of discussion these days regarding a unique wedding. Village youth Rahul Kumar surprised everyone by marrying a Japanese girl, Marina. As soon as the Japanese daughter-in-law i.e. Bahuria arrived at her in-laws’ house in the village, people from nearby areas also gathered to watch.
Rahul Kumar is the son of Sudisht Yadav, resident of Rauta village and is currently working as a senior engineer in Honda Company of Japan. He met Marina during a business party. This process that started with conversation gradually turned into friendship and then love. Rahul has been living and working in Japan for the last five years.
After a love relationship that lasted for about two years, both of them decided to get married with the consent of the family. The first marriage according to Japanese traditions took place in Tokyo in the month of November. After this the marriage was also done as per Bihari customs.

Card also printed in Bihari style. Along with the boy, the girl’s name and address were also given. A reception was given in the village itself on 17th December. The girl’s mother’s name is Atsushi Ohasi and father’s name is Kanako. The girl is a global sales manager.

Especially among the youth there was a competition to take selfie with Marina. Although Marina does not know Hindi, she won the hearts of people by folding her hands and saying “Namaste India”, “Hello ji” and “I love India”.
