Lucknow News: SP leader Sumaiya Rana has given a written complaint at Kaiserbagh police station in Lucknow demanding action in the case of Hijab controversy of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He has also complained against UP Minister Sanjay Nishad.
Sumaiya Rana said that this action of Nitish Kumar was very shameful. He said that after watching the video, it was not clear how these people think towards women. Especially in a country where women are worshiped as goddesses. Sumaiya Rana said that nothing more shameful than this can happen. He has also complained against UP government minister Sanjay Nishad. He said that Sanjay Nishad’s statement in this matter is also objectionable.
Nitish Kumar is facing opposition
It is noteworthy that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar got embroiled in controversy when he removed the hijab of a Burkan-clad woman during the appointment letter distribution program from a public platform. As soon as the video went viral, opposition parties started surrounding Nitish Kumar. Many Ulemas and Muslim religious leaders also described this action of Nitish as extremely regrettable and shameful. However, JDU clarified that he did this as a matter of concern.
Sanjay Nishad also gave a controversial statement
Not only this, the controversy increased further when UP cabinet minister gave a controversial statement on Nitish pulling off his hijab. He said that if he touched the mask, that’s enough, what would have happened if he touched it somewhere else. Sumaiya Rana considered this statement of the minister as objectionable and filed a complaint against him.
