Noida Air Pollution: These days the effect of fog is clearly visible throughout North India. In the entire Delhi-NCR including Noida, along with winter, pollution and dense fog have increased the problems of people manifold. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Noida has crossed 400, due to which the air has entered the ‘hazardous’ category. Complaints of difficulty in breathing, irritation in eyes and throat are increasing rapidly. At the same time, visibility has reduced due to dense fog, due to which road and air traffic is also being affected.
According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and other agencies, the air quality was recorded as very poor at all active air quality monitoring stations in Noida.

According to experts, this condition is extremely dangerous for children, elderly and people suffering from asthma or other respiratory diseases. Doctors have advised to avoid unnecessary going out and use masks.

Due to reduced wind speed and falling temperature, pollutant particles are getting trapped in the atmosphere, due to which the smog situation is becoming more serious.
