A doctor has been accused of sexually assaulting 38 patients who were under his care, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has said.
Nathaniel Spencer, 38, of Quinton, Birmingham, has been charged with 15 counts of sexual assault, 17 counts of assault by penetration and nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
Spencer also faces three counts of assault on a child under 13 by penetration and one count of attempted assault by penetration.
The charges follow an investigation by Staffordshire Police which focused on offenses against 38 patients, between 2017 and 2021.
The force said it had investigated allegations of sexual offenses at Royal Stoke University Hospital, in Stoke-on-Trent, and Russells Hall Hospital, in Dudley.
Spencer is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Center on January 20, 2026.
