Buxar E-Malkhana App: SP Shubham Arya of Buxar district in Bihar has launched the e-Malkhana app, which will create a digital record of the goods seized in six police stations. With this, the evidence in every case will be 100% safe.
Taking a big step towards digital revolution, Bihar Police has launched e-Malkhana app for the first time in Buxar district. With the help of this app, now complete details of liquor, ganja, weapons and other material seized in police stations will be online. With this, incidents of irregularities and theft in warehouses will be curbed.
This new initiative has been started in six police stations of Buxar like Dhansoi, Itadhi, Bagen Gola, Basudeva, Hata OP and Chakki. SP Shubham Arya formally inaugurated this app in his office room. Earlier, many such incidents had come to light where it was claimed that rats drank the confiscated liquor kept in the warehouse, but now after this digital system, such incidents are expected to be completely stopped.
The SP said that it was often seen that officers avoided taking charge of the Malkhana. Because there was a lack of transparency in it. Now everything can be tracked through this app, which will ensure accountability and eliminate scope for irregularities.

SP Arya said that now the seized material can be tracked through barcode. The list of seized items related to any case will appear on the screen in one scan. Apart from this, boxes will be made with numbering system to keep all the small items, so that there is no problem in taking and giving charges.
In the first phase of e-Malkhana, six police stations of the district have been equipped with the facility of digitization, which includes Itadhi, Dhansoin and Tilak Rai’s Hata and other police stations. Police Captain Shubham Arya inaugurated the e-Malkhana in the police office room located at the Collectorate. In this sequence, the SP said that e-Malkhana is a system in which digital records of seized goods related to cases will be kept. There will be a QR code or bar code on every item, after scanning which all the information will be available.
This will make tracking and management of goods easier and information about goods related to the case will be available immediately. This will facilitate maintenance and search of goods. This will avoid unnecessary delays in the execution of cases and will also increase transparency. SP said that in the coming time this app will be implemented in all the police stations of the district. So that the entire operation of the warehouse can be streamlined, transparent and digital.
