Bijapur Naxal Encounter: Big news of Naxal activities has come out from Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. After receiving information about the presence of Maoists in the dense forests and hilly areas of Indravati area of Bhairamgarh police station area, security forces have started a search operation.
Pinaki Ranjan Das/Bijapur: A major operation by the District Reserve Guard (DRG) team is going on in Bhairamgarh police station of Bijapur district. As soon as the news of the presence of Maoists was received in the forests and mountains of Indravati area, the team started the search operation. DRG jawans have been manning the area since morning.
During the search operation, intermittent firing is taking place between the soldiers and the Maoists. According to the latest information, a Naxalite has been killed. His body has been recovered. Along with this, many weapons have also been found. The soldiers are cordoning off the entire area and conducting a search operation. After the operation is over, information about the entire incident will be shared by the police and administration.
3 Maoists killed in Sukma
There was a massive encounter between DRG and Naxalites in Golapalli police station area of Sukma district on Thursday. Since morning, intermittent sounds of gunshots were echoing in the forest, due to which the entire area was on high alert. Bodies of three Maoists were recovered in this encounter. There was also news of weapons being found at the spot.
These three Naxalites were killed
The slain Naxalites were identified as Madvi Joga alias Munna, ACM Kistaram Area Committee, Sodhi Bundy, ACM Kistaram Area Committee, and Nuppo Bajni Mahila, Kistaram Area Committee.
