If you are a government pensioner or your parents take pension, then this news is very important for you! The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoP&PW) of the Government of India has issued a new guideline, in which it has been made clear that now the name of any pensioner’s daughter will never be deleted from the family records, as long as the pensioner or family pensioner is alive. This means that once the daughter’s name is registered as a family member, she will always be on the records — even if she is not yet entitled to a family pension. His pension eligibility will be decided only when the pensioner or family pensioner dies. This rule comes under Rule 50(15) of the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021. Its objective is that the government should have accurate and updated family details of every pensioner, so that in future no family member faces any problem in determining the pension entitlement.
