Cyber Crime Sultanpur: This incident can make anyone restless. The trend of renting and renting houses is increasing from big cities to small towns. Landlords also take the help of OLX to provide information about their vacant rooms to the tenants, but now there is a need to be careful. A little negligence became a headache for a landlord in Sultanpur.

A gang has been busted in Sultanpur district of UP, which used to get houses on rent from landlords by extracting their details from OLX. Then after winning their trust, they would commit cyber fraud and run away. Cyber crime police has got great success in Sultanpur. Police have arrested three such miscreants from Bihar who used to come in contact through renting rooms on OLX. Then they would give them all kinds of tempting lures including trading, collect huge amounts of money from them and run away. The police have sent these three to jail and have started taking action.
Fraud happened with them
Additional Superintendent of Police Akhand Pratap Singh said that Shailendra Singh, a resident of Turabkhani, Kotwali city of Sultanpur, had complained to the cyber crime police that he had put up an advertisement for renting his house on OLX. Seeing him, some people came in contact with him. They gave their house on rent, after which all these people showed greed to earn more money including trading and absconded with Rs 7 lakh and Rs 12 lakh in cash through various transactions. After this complaint, cyber police started investigation and found out that this operation was being run from Bihar. All of them make many rich people of UP and Bihar their pawns. In this connection, cyber police reached Bihar and arrested Ajay Pratap Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, resident of Bhabhua district and Ranjan Yadav, resident of Chandauli.

Police have recovered laptop, 9 mobiles, tablet, PAN card, passbook, bike, SIM and ATM from them. According to the police, many criminal cases are already registered against Ajay Pratap Yadav. Additional SP has appealed to the people to immediately inform the police if such fraud occurs.
