HDFC Bank UPI Down: HDFC Bank will conduct system maintenance on 8th and 15th November 2025, during which UPI services will remain temporarily closed. The bank has advised customers to use options like PayZapp wallet during these times.
HDFC Bank UPI Down: If you are a customer of the country’s largest private bank HDFC Bank and transact through Unified Payments Interface i.e. UPI, then this news is important for you. HDFC Bank has informed its customers through email that the bank will conduct system maintenance on 8 November and 15 November 2025. During this period, customers may face temporary disruption in UPI services. The bank says that this upgrade is being done to improve the quality and security of its digital services.
According to the bank, system maintenance work will be done on November 8, 2025, from 2:30 am to 6:30 am (about 4 hours) and on November 15, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 am (about 90 minutes). During this period, UPI services related to HDFC Bank account will not be available.

HDFC Bank has appealed to customers to use PayZapp wallet or other alternative means for transactions during these times. The bank has said that this temporary interruption will be limited only to the maintenance period and after that all services will be available normally. The bank said in its message, “We appreciate your cooperation and trust. This system upgrade is to make our banking experience more secure and faster.”
The bank keeps doing technical upgrades from time to time.
The bank regularly makes technical upgrades to make its digital services better and more secure. Therefore this closure will be only for some time. If you are planning to make any important payment during this period, it would be better to make the payment in advance or use the PayZapp app.
