Government Purchase Of Paddy: If you are going to a government purchasing center to sell paddy, then ignoring two small rules can get your entire trolley returned. Before reaching the purchasing centre, be sure to know these two most important things, so that your crop can be sold easily and payment is received without any hassle.
Sultanpur: Paddy has been harvested in almost all the districts of UP and farmers are now busy preparing to sell their produce at government purchasing centres. But many farmers are facing a big problem. It is noteworthy that the farmers allege that after taking the paddy to the purchasing centres, their trolleys are being returned due to various reasons. Due to this, not only the time of the farmers is being wasted, but the additional expenses of freight, labor and loading and unloading of paddy are also increasing.
If you are also going to the purchasing center to sell your paddy, then it is very important to keep some important things in mind. If you ignore these rules, your paddy may also be returned. Therefore, before going to the purchasing centre, prepare your crop and keep the necessary documents with you.
Online registration is necessary
Expert and farmer Anupam Pandey says that the first and most important step to sell paddy at government purchasing centers is online registration. Without registration, no farmer can sell his crop at the centre. For this, farmers can register on the Food Department’s website fcs.up.gov.in from their mobile or computer, or from the nearest public convenience centre. The big advantage of registration is that after selling the paddy, the entire payment for your produce is sent directly to your bank account. Keep in mind that it is mandatory to link your bank account with Aadhaar, otherwise the payment may get stuck.
Take special care of moisture
Often when farmers deliver paddy to the purchasing centre, moisture is found in it. In case of high moisture, the payment is reduced at the center or sometimes the paddy is returned completely. To avoid such situations, check the moisture of paddy before transporting it. If there is moisture in the paddy, then spread it out in the strong sunlight and dry it for at least 2-3 days, turning it occasionally. This will reduce the moisture to the correct level and your paddy will become easily purchaseable.
