Meerut News: A small child from Bhopal, Ayush Jain, has prepared such a unique model, which converts the ordinary tiles installed in houses into an electricity generating machine. In this model based on piezoelectric technology, electricity is generated as soon as one steps on the tile, which can later be used in the house.
Meerut: Today’s small children have started thinking seriously about their future and new challenges along with studies. A recent example of this was seen in the All India Science Exhibition organized at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Meerut, where students from across the country presented models that can solve future energy problems. In this exhibition, Ayush Jain, a student from Rahli Patnaganj, Madhya Pradesh, prepared a unique model, which got third place in the entire country. The special thing about the model was that it shows how to generate energy from everyday tiles. The team of Local-18 had a special conversation with Ayush to understand this model closely.
Ayush says that nowadays tiles are installed in most of the houses, so keeping this usage in mind, he has prepared a special model on piezoelectric crystal technology. In this technology, a special device is installed under the tiles, which converts the pressure on it into energy. As soon as a person steps on the tiles, the pressure causes each tile to generate approximately 4 volts of electricity, which can be stored in a storage unit and used later in the home. According to AYUSH, this technique is absolutely safe and can lead to significant savings in electricity consumption at home.
It will cost only Rs 500
Ayush told that initially adopting this technology may seem a bit expensive, because it costs about Rs 500 to prepare one tile. Although this expenditure is incurred only once, after that these tiles keep generating electricity continuously. Therefore, looking at the future, this technology will not only prove to be economical but will also become a better way of energy saving. Ayush says that he has prepared many more such models keeping in mind the future needs, because the demand for electricity is going to increase further in the coming years.

AYUSH has also developed a lift model which will work completely on solar energy. Solar power will be used to take the lift up, while the energy generated from its motion can be stored again while coming down. In this way, this model will help in saving energy as well as generating additional electricity.
