Vaishali: To free Hajipur, the Vaishali district headquarters of Bihar, from the problem of traffic jam, the district administration has launched a ‘remove encroachment’ campaign which is continuing. Under this, the Municipal Council team came out in the city with a bulldozer and conducted a campaign from Johri Bazaar, Trimurti Chowk to Ramashish Chowk of the city. The Municipal Council team vacated the encroachment on the roadside with the help of bulldozer.
Also, the Municipal Council team gave an ultimatum to the encroachers that if they do not remove the encroachment themselves, then the Municipal Council’s bulldozer will automatically vacate the illegal encroachment. Regarding this, Municipal Council’s CT Manager Deepak Tiwari said that the campaign will continue to make the city jam free. According to him, the next campaign will run from Gandhi Chowk to Station Chowk, Rajendra Chowk and Gudri.
At the same time, he said that fine is also being collected from the vehicles parked on the roadside. Besides, illegal encroachments are also being vacated so that the city can be freed from traffic jams. However, people are also appreciating this campaign of the district administration and city council. Along with this, people are also demanding from the administration that parking arrangements should be made in the city, so that the people coming from every corner of the district do not face any problem.
Let us tell you that the government’s bulldozer action is going on in full swing in many cities of Bihar regarding encroachment. Recently, bulldozer action has been taken against encroachment on the main road in many areas of Jehanabad district of Bihar. On one hand, people are happy with the removal of this encroachment, on the other hand they also say that mere demolition will not suffice. The government should make arrangements for parking and those setting up shops on the roads. Now it remains to be seen how long will the government fulfill the demands of the people after the bulldozer action.
