On this whole matter, District Magistrate Dehradun says that use of fake documents has been found on a large scale in making ration and Ayushman cards. Many people in Dehradun used these cards incorrectly, in view of which action will be taken against those officials.
Dehradun: How documents have been misused in Uttarakhand in the last few years is now increasingly coming to light. Ever since the verification work has started in the state, people living in Uttarakhand have started being detected through fake documents. As soon as Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave the order regarding investigation of fake documents, the departments started unraveling. Many Bangladeshis and Rohingyas have been arrested from different places of the state, who were living with fake identities.
CSC centers are being investigated
These days, checking regarding fake documents is intensified across the state. Wherever fake documents are being made in CSC centres, the administration is keeping an eye on them. On Thursday, irregularities were found in the checking of CSC centers in Dehradun and some centers were also sealed. Whereas in Dehradun, 10 thousand fake ration cards and around 5 thousand fake Ayushman cards were found. CM Dhami said that the investigation will be conducted on a wide scale.
Fraud found on a large scale
On this whole issue, District Magistrate Dehradun says that use of fake documents has been found on a large scale in making ration and Ayushman cards. Many people in Dehradun have misused these cards, in view of which action will be taken against the officials whose negligence made these cards. Experts say that fake documents can be made only when they are not scrutinized properly.
Fake ration cards of 10 thousand people
In Dehradun, 10 thousand people were found who first got ration cards made by applying wrong documents and then availed the benefits of government ration for many years. Similarly, 5 thousand people kept taking health benefits through fake Ayushman cards. In such a situation, because of these people, the real eligible people were deprived of government schemes, in view of which the government is now in a strict mood.
