Tata Asset Management: Titanium Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) has been launched by Tata Asset Management. Which has been brought in the market under Tata Mutual Fund. SIF is a hybrid long-short investment plan. Under which investments are made in equity, debt and derivative exposures.
In SIF, efforts are made to provide better risk adjusted returns to investors. Investors can bet on it now. It will remain open for investment till December 8. According to a report published in Economic Times Hindi, this fund is for investors with high risk appetite. Investors will have to invest at least Rs 10 lakh.
Investors get benefits as per the market
Titanium Specialized Investment Fund manages long and short positions. The fund uses both rising and falling stocks to earn profits. It also reduces the risk of volatile market. The fund forms its views using equity derivatives.
Anand Varadarajan told the Economic Times that the fund goes up about 65 percent of the time and remains down 35 percent of the time. Investors wait for the market to rise, but SIFs give investors the opportunity to make profits even in a falling market.
Fund model and its plan
Titanium Specialized Investment Fund comes under the Hybrid Long-Short category. In this investment, minimum 25 percent equity and debt allocation and maximum 25 percent unhedged short exposure is kept.
By doing so, the fund participates in emerging market trends through long positions, while the arbitrage scheme minimizes risk. This fund also invests in REITs and InvITs.
