Patna: Actor Dharmendra, known as the ‘He Man’ of Bollywood, died at the age of 89. He was ill for several days. On November 12, he was admitted to Mumbai Breach Candy Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment. His condition remained critical. He breathed his last on Monday. Dharmendra was one of the most popular actors of Bollywood. He made a series of hit films in his 65 year acting career. He made his mark not only in Bollywood but also in Bhojpuri cinema.

His first Bhojpuri film was ‘Desh Pardes’. It was released in the year 2013. The lead role was played by Pawan Singh. In the film, Pawan appeared in the role of Dharmendra’s son. The audience liked this film very much.

Dharmendra’s second film in Bhojpuri cinema was ‘Insaaf Ki Devi’. After which he was seen in films like ‘Daria Dil’, ‘Sajna Humka Dulhaniya Bana Diyo Na’ and ‘Dushman Ke Khoon Paani Ha’.
