Bollywood’s He Man Actor Dharmendra is no more with us. Born on 8 December 1935 in Nasrali village of Ludhiana, Punjab, Dharmendra breathed his last at the age of 89. Dharmendra, who started his career with the film “Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere” in 1960, worked in more than 300 films. The character of Veeru gave him special recognition and from the 60s to the 80s he gave hit films like Aankhen, Sholay, Dost, Chupke-Chupke and Shaspan. Dharmendra was considered not only an actor but also an inspiration and handsome hero of Bollywood. In the 90s, she also made her mark in character roles, like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya?, Johnny Gaddaar, Yamla Pagla Deewana and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Dharmendra, who also entered politics, was honored with the Padma Bhusan Award in 2012. In his last days, he spent time in the Farm House and shared motivational videos on social media. Poetry and exercise were his hobbies. Dharmendra’s contribution and his acting will always live in the hearts of Bollywood and the audience.
