Muzaffarpur: On Monday, Deputy Chief Minister cum Land Revenue Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha organized a public hearing in Muzaffarpur to listen to the problems of the general public. This program was organized in Shri Krishna Singh Auditorium located in Muzaffarpur University campus. Where thousands of people arrived since morning with their complaints. The objective of the program was to quickly resolve pending land disputes and revenue related matters among the people.

Many people lodged complaints regarding matters related to land measurement, demarcation and possession. During this time, when villagers from Satpura Panchayat of Mushahari block accused a revenue employee of negligence and corruption, the Deputy Chief Minister immediately got an investigation done.

When the allegations were found true in the preliminary investigation, Vijay Sinha issued an order to suspend revenue employee Rakesh Kumar on the spot. Besides, instructions were also given to remove him from the district and depute him to some other district.
