In the last four months, notices have been issued to more than 12 thousand people, while traders have demonstrated against the illegal entry of the market and demanded strict action from the administration. Due to the strictness of the administration and the Municipal Corporation, the market could not be established this time.
Ghaziabad: Ghaziabad Commissionerate Police has launched an intensive campaign against encroachment in public places under Section 152 of BNSS. Under this campaign, notices have been issued to more than 12 thousand people in the last four months. Of these, more than four thousand people have removed the encroachment and informed the police. Police officials say that encroachment in public places causes a lot of trouble to the common people, that is why major markets and sensitive places are being constantly monitored. If encroachment is found, an immediate notice is being issued to the person concerned.
At the same time, the traders’ protest against illegal entry into the market has also intensified. Traders protested against illegal entry of the market by protesting near Chowpla market. Due to the strictness of the administration and the Municipal Corporation, the market could not be established this time. The administration had blocked the spot since Saturday and on Sunday morning, the City Zone and City Kotwali police of the Municipal Corporation reached the spot and completely stopped the Peeth market.
Opposition to illegal entry into the market intensifies
On Sunday morning, Mayor Sunita Dayal called from Lucknow and gave clear instructions that Peeth Bazaar should not be allowed to be set up under any circumstances. After this, the Municipal Corporation and the administration successfully stopped the illegal entry of the market as per the preparations done in advance. Business leader Raju Chhabra and regional councilor Rajeev Sharma said that if an attempt is made to establish the market again, the movement will be intensified and expanded. He appealed to all the traders to unite and oppose the illegal market.
Difficult to get out of the house
Local residents Haji Chaman and Imran Rizwan said that due to the market, it becomes difficult to go out of the house and even children have to face a lot of trouble on Sundays. During this time, women also expressed their displeasure, however, the traders handled the situation and calmed down the matter.
