Greater Noida News: The 39th National Convention on Quality Concepts will be organized by the Quality Circle Forum of India at GL Bajaj College, Greater Noida from 19 to 21 December. About 12 thousand representatives of more than 700 organizations from across the country will participate in the three-day conference and more than 2200 case presentations related to quality, innovation and process improvement will be presented.
Greater Noida: Greater Noida is once again going to create its own unique identity at the national level. The 39th National Convention on Quality Concepts will be organized grandly by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) at GL Bajaj College, Knowledge Park. This three-day conference will be held from 19 to 21 December, in which more than 12 thousand representatives of more than 700 organizations coming from different states of the country will participate. With this big event, Greater Noida will emerge as a national center of quality and innovation.
QCFI President Avinash Mishra said that this year the theme of the conference has been kept as self-reliant developed India. This theme focuses on promoting quality based development in the industrial, educational and service sectors of the country. The conference will see active participation from industry experts, quality professionals, academicians and students. Teams from various colleges and institutes of the country will also participate in this event, which will provide an opportunity to the youth to develop practical understanding of quality management and innovation.
2200 case presentations will be presented
Avinash Mishra said that during the conference, the participants will present about 2200 case presentations based on the problems faced in their respective organizations and institutions and their solutions. Through these case studies, important topics like process improvement, increasing productivity, reducing costs and increasing efficiency will be discussed in depth. The submitted cases will be evaluated by more than 300 experienced judges. After evaluation, the best performing teams and organizations will be honored, which will encourage excellent work in the field of quality. He said that sustainable development is possible only when organizations make quality a part of their work culture.
Greater Noida’s educational and industrial identity will be strengthened
Whereas QCFI Executive Director D.K. Srivastava said that in this conference, special focus will be given on topics like innovation in suva improvement, process efficiency and cost reduction. This national conference to be organized at GL Bajaj College is a matter of pride for Greater Noida. This will not only strengthen the academic and industrial identity of the region, but this event will prove to be an important milestone in promoting quality and innovation across the country.
