Pink Smart Toilets are being specially designed keeping in mind the convenience and safety of women. These have rest rooms, which will provide comfortable waiting and rest facilities for women. A private and clean space for mothers with small children, where they can comfortably breastfeed their babies. State-of-the-art ventilation and security systems are being used in it.

Women and elderly face toilet problems

Dehradun Municipal Commissioner Namami Bansal said that complaints were being received continuously in the main markets of Dehradun that women and elderly people face toilet problems. Therefore the corporation has started working on this. The state’s first hi-tech toilet has also been ready, which has many modern facilities.

He told that the Municipal Corporation has made hi-tech pink toilet for women and gray smart toilet for men in Prem Nagar Market. These smart toilets for common citizens have been designed in accordance with state-of-the-art technologies. This will provide great convenience to local residents, businessmen, Vikram and people commuting to the bus stand. There will also be a rest room arrangement for disabled people, in which crutches and wheelchairs will also be available.

Local traders will get convenience

Prem Nagar resident Naveen Kumar told Local 18 that he drives an auto. Often here in the market, they and the travelers had to face problems due to lack of toilets, but now toilets have also been prepared in our area, so that people keep watching, because many types of facilities are available in it. A feeding room for small children is also being made in this hi-tech toilet equipped with modern facilities.

Keeping women’s safety in mind, this smart hi-tech toilet will also have sanitary pad machine, hair dryer and internet Wi-Fi facility. In the smart toilet, along with automatic sensor based washing, arrangements for dustbin and hand dryer will also be made for the passersby. A selfie point has also been specially made in this pink toilet for women. There will be facilities like first aid, newspaper stand, shoe polish machine etc. for the passengers traveling from main market Premnagar. Many people are even calling this toilet a vanity van.
